Learning outcomes The objective of this course is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of Physics that is useful in Medicine and involves the functioning of the human body and some of its organs. The aim is to associate knowledge of Physics with the different functions of the human body. Information given by doctors/professors of various medical specialties (Sprechstunde, Deutschlandfunk) is referred to in the context of the subjects taught in the course.
Syllabus Elasticity and Resistance/Strength of Materials. Fluids in static equilibrium. The motion of Fluids. Heat and Kinetic Theory. Diffusion. Osmosis. Heat and Life. Waves, Sound and light. Senses: hearing and vision. Electricity and the nervous system.
