Learning outcomes |
Enable students to implement Technical Drawing knowledge through a Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer application, using SOLIDWORKS software as a tool. After attending this Curricular Unit, the student must: - Have grasped the fundamental concepts of Technical Drawing; - Be able to read and correctly interpret a technical drawing; - Be prepared to create schemes, drawings and 3D models necessary for the design of new products, equipment and aircraft. - Being able, once guided by a teacher in the scientific area of ??Aeronautical Engineering, to develop the ability to create CAD models of aircraft, namely wing profiles, surfaces aerodynamics, fairings and fuselage bodies.
