The subject is objectively integrative, allowing students to associate their education process related to aeronautical design (taught through the various subjects of the course), with the two subsequent and fundamental phases of the life cycle of an aircraft, namely Aeronautical Manufacturing and Maintenance. In this sense, the students are given the opportunity to learn how from a theoretical/methodological point of view the industrialisation of aeronautical products is carried out and also how aircraft operators ensure the compliance with the instructions of continued airworthiness, materialised in the carrying out maintenance actions.
