Learning outcomes Knowledge of usual technical installations existing in buildings with special attention on the connections with constructions and architectural elements,aspects related to efficient use of available resources and their reuse, ensuring the approach to professional practice.
a. Knowledge of the conception and design of installations for water supply, sewage drainage and fire extinction.
b. Knowledge of the gas installations
c. Knowledge of installations of telecommunications and management
d. Knowledge of the installations of electrical energy
e. Knowledge of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning installations
Syllabus Subjects related to building facilities including:
1 – Sanitary facilities
2– Installations of detection and fire extinction
3- Electrical installations, telecommunications, signal TV and domotics
4- Installations of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Diverse, student-centered teaching-learning methodologies will be applied: Oral presentation to present some topics; Study Visits; Lectures by invited experts; Guided execution of practical work on laying out water and sewage networks; Guidance in research and organization of information for study and production of work related to Curricular Unit themes, with its presentation and public discussion. The evaluation will focus on research and exploration of Curricular Unit themes and its integration and articulation with the Architecture Project. Continuous assessment/evaluation with the following parameters: 1-Participation in classes, presentations and technical visits and development of work; 2-Practical Network Layout Work (TPTR1 and TPTR2); 3-Report relating to classes and invited lectures (R); 4-Research and Synthesis Work (TPS); 5-Public presentation of research and synthesis work; 6 - Participation in presentations of research and synthesis works.
