Learning outcomes |
- To know the Technical Drawing as professional language, studying representation by orthogonal projections, cuts and sections and types of perspectives. Notions of dimensioning, dimensional tolerance, surface finish. - Use parametric solid modeling tools (SolidWorks) by creating, manipulating and changing 3D models of components and their assemblies and executing their technical drawings. Acquire the ability to design (3D drawing) more or less complex electromechanical machines.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
- The teaching-learning process will be assessed through two practical assessments, plus attendance and materials, throughout the semester. - Formula for calculating the teaching-learning grade: NF (final grade) = 0.3 x NTP1 (grade for practical test 1) + 0.5 x NTP2 (grade for practical test 2) + 0.2 x AM (attendance and materials) >= 9.5 points. - Practical assessment dates: NTP1 - 28/10/2025; NTP2 - 16/12/2025
- To qualify for attendance, students must have at least 7 points and 50% class attendance. - Assessment by exam (Regular or Resit) will be through a final exam, with a minimum grade of 9.5 points. - Formula for calculating the grade per exam (Normal or Resit): NF (final grade) = NE (exam grade) >= 9.5 points.
