The specific goals are pointed out next:: 1 - To identify monitoring parameters the main operational parameters; 2 - To describe the main technologies applied in effluent treatment; 3 – Promote reuse opportunities; Before the completion of this course students should be able to understand the fundamentals of biological, chemical and physical aspects applied on monitoring and treatment of water, wastewater and solid waste. Specifically they should describe fundamental principles of wastewater treatment processes and solve problems related with monitoring and treatment processes.
