Application of composition strategies and illustration techniques in the representation inherent to the Design Fashion project, from the scale of clothing to the accessory. Mastery of the representation of simple fabrics, with relief or patterns, among other solutions such as dentelle fabric or embroidery. Two-dimensional and volumetric drawing. Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Exercises will be developed allowing the experimentation around various types of drawing and graphic processes: reference drawings, project drawings, presentation drawings. In parallel, the student will explore through his daily graphic records from memory, observation, or imagination. The practical component will be preceded by brief theoretical modules and complemented by the explanation through drawing and demonstration of techniques. The exercises of the graphic diary will be released every week and presented to the teacher regularly. The evaluation criteria will consist of attendance (20%), the operative and expressive qualities of the works (80%). The exercises fall into the following blocks: 1 - Human figure; 2 - Perspective with human figure; 3 - Representation of accessories; 4 - Fabrics design in two-dimensional and volumetric registers; 5 - Fashion illustration (briefing).
