Learning outcomes The course module will focus on local and regional finance, with the primary objectives of equipping students with the skills to understand the development, functions and interrelationships between the different levels of public financial decision-making, particularly at the regional and local levels. It also aims to develop the ability to understand and discuss the legal framework (the Regional Finance Act and the Local Finance Act), as well as its implications for the central government budget and the budgets of regional and local authorities.
