Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Classes follow a theoretical-practical model, with the first part of the class being reserved for the expository aspect of the main concepts, theories and programmatic formulations of the contents taught. The second part of the class corresponds to a practical analysis of the various models of democracy, their practical applicability, the respective comparison and measurement, as well as the way to outline lines of action in response to the crisis of democracy.

• Class Presentation 1 – March 16, 2026 – 30%.
• Class Presentation 2 – April 20, 2026 – 30%.
• Class Presentation 3 – May 25, 2026 – 40% (case study).

Working students:
• Analysis and discussion of a report on the quality of democracy – 100% (due June 8, 2026). Report: 50%; Presentation and discussion – 50%.

• Exam with no attendance requirements.
• Minimum grade to take the exam: 6.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
