Learning outcomes 1. Put students in contact with the main concepts of the Management and Organization of Social Services, providing them with an overview of the organizations and the functions necessary for their functioning.
2. Deepen knowledge and understanding of Management topics in the context of social service organizations.
3. To train development agents, for the improvement of managers and social entrepreneurs in order to generate greater efficiency.
4. Foster a spirit of research on topics of social service organizations, according to the trends and challenges that arise in this field of knowledge.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes will be of a theoretical-practical nature, including the presentation of contents and the participation of the students in the issues addressed. Whenever possible, technicians (alumni) who perform functions in social organizations will be invited to report on their functions and type of functioning in this type of organizations. The theoretical exposition will also be accompanied, whenever possible, with the analysis of case studies taken from journals and books of the specialty. In the practical part, will be presented works carried out by the students (real case studies and a paper with literature review on topics provided by the teacher to each group).
