Learning outcomes The primary objective of this course is to enable students to the research process. We aim to enable students to develop a research/intervention project that support their master's dissertation or project. This course aims to enable the student to:
1. For the realization of a scientific thought, training procedures so that a given phenomenon is thought sociologically;
2. It aims to equip students with the necessary tools so that they can develop a research/intervention project in Sociology.
Syllabus 1. The process of scientific inquiry/intervention
2. The realization of the research project: data collection, data processing, analysis and interpretation of data, writing of scientific work.
3. Ethics and the research positioning
4- Presenting and Disseminating results

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Each student must prepare a critical essay (60%) in which they:

discuss the strengths and weaknesses of their project in light of the course content (research process vs. intervention; methodological design; ethics and researcher stance; data collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation);

propose strategies to address the identified weaknesses;

integrate considerations regarding ethics and the dissemination of results;

demonstrate the ability to apply critical and scientific thinking, with a focus on entrepreneurship.

Subsequently, students will develop a work on the presentation and defense of a master's project in public examinations (40%).

In line with the objectives of this course, there is no final theoretical exam.
