Learning outcomes |
The Advanced Free Course Curricular Unit corresponds to a set of specialization courses offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences or other Faculties of the University of Beira Interior. Students may select courses according to the area of ??specialization they intend to develop in their doctoral project, and must be included in one of the scientific areas of the Course Curricular Plan, in order to acquire the knowledge appropriate to the research area. The general objectives are: a) Acquire advanced knowledge in a field of Pharmaceutical Sciences; b) Analyze the latest scientific advances in a field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. At the end of the Curricular Unit, the student must be able to: a) Apply the knowledge acquired in carrying out the research activity of the doctoral project; b) Use the knowledge and skills acquired to carry out scientific experiments related to the doctoral project.

Syllabus |
Students can choose different Advanced Courses from the courses offered by the other 3rd cycles of the Faculty of Health Sciences, as well as other Faculties of the University of Beira Interior. These courses must be part of one of the scientific areas of the Curricular Plan, must have a minimum of 5 ECTS, and are subject to approval by the course director.
