Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Classes will adopt an expository approach, encompassing the presentation of theoretical concepts and engaging in discussions on the approached topics.. Practical examples and exercises will be employed to facilitate the application of theoretical knowledge, complemented by the reading and analysis of Portuguese texts, with the ultimate aim of fostering a comprehensive understanding of semantic and pragmatic phenomena. Assessment will be conducted through a group project, in addition to the thoughtful evaluation of students' active participation during class sessions. At the commencement of the academic year, the assessment criteria will be thoroughly discussed with the students.
