Learning outcomes LAW MODULE
Provide students with fundamental legal knowledge applicable to Health Unit Management, promoting the ability to interpret, apply, and integrate the legal and regulatory framework into the decision-making process, ensuring legally sound, responsible management in accordance with the principles of the rule of law. Objectives:
i) Understand the fundamentals of the legal system applicable to the health sector and the management of Health Units;
ii) Identify the main sources of Health Law;
ETHICS MODULE
This module is an introduction to ethics, promoting reflection on ethical issues involved in health management, emphasizing the importance of professional ethics and conduct. Objectives: (i) to define the scope of ethics; (ii) to understand the assumptions of different bioethical paradigms and reflect on their implications and dilemmas; (iii) to assess the role of codes of ethics in the health sector.
