Learning outcomes |
The course Research Seminars provides a space for analysis, reflection, application, and broad debate on research issues in Strategic Communication, opening pathways for selecting domains and/or research perspectives that students may develop in the future. Main learning objectives: 1. Understand the main research areas in organizational and strategic communication studies, as well as their theoretical and empirical approaches. 2. Strengthen skills for analyzing, reviewing, and discussing scientific texts within the field. 3. Develop the ability to define a research object and design an appropriate theoretical and methodological approach.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Students will be assessed based on two individual components: 1 – The first component (50%) is based on the submission of three reading sheets on texts discussed throughout the semester and two reports on sessions delivered by guest speakers, either in class or at events organized by LabCom. 2 – For the second component (50%), students must produce a project that demonstrates alignment between the research question, the research objectives, and the corresponding empirical approach.
