Learning outcomes The course aims to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with fatigue and sleep deprivation in the workplace, with a focus on total working time management. Learners will develop the ability to apply preventive methodologies in industrial settings, recognize fatigue-related risk factors, and implement evidence-based practices. The online theoretical component delivers scientific foundations on sleep, biological rhythms, and fatigue, while the in-person sessions offer practical application, use of monitoring tools, and case-based discussions. This structure ensures alignment between the learning objectives and the teaching methods, fostering active, reflective, and technically grounded learning.
Syllabus 1. Management of fatigue-related risks, organizational responsibilities, and best practices
2. Case studies and simulations: Use of the CEMSA Platform and assessment tools (SIGAF, CPVT, Sonometer)
3. The role of family and the psychosocial environment in mitigating fatigue risk
4. Sleep in high-performance sports
5. Development of a fatigue risk prevention plan
