Learning outcomes - Mastering the main news production circuits.
- Mastering journalistic writing, audio editing, and video editing techniques, applying them to different genres.
- Familiarization with the routines of a newsroom and journalistic work in television, radio, print media, and the web.
- Development of autonomy, critical thinking, and responsibility regarding the tasks to be carried out in the Workshop, as well as self-reflective abilities regarding the meaning, adequacy, ethical and deontological framework of journalistic work.
Syllabus Content related to writing and web:
1. Journalistic production;
2. Agenda and meetings of editors and newsroom;
3. Production of news, editorials, reports, opinion pieces, chronicles, and interviews;
4. Text editing.

Content related to audiovisual content:
1. Writing techniques for television;
2. Presentation techniques for radio and television;
3. Creation, writing, production, and distribution of podcasts;
4. Theory and techniques of image capture;
5. Digital editing.

- The final grade will take into account the student's effort, participation and sense of responsibility (10%).
- Only one news report per week is allowed, and all assignments must be submitted by the last class of semester.
- Each missing news report will receive a grade of zero, and if the student does not achieve a final average of 10 (ten), they will receive a grade of NOT ADMITTED.

Within the timeframe of the exams schedule and in justified cases, students have the opportunity to redo an assignement
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
