Learning outcomes The curricular unit aims to identify and study the fundamentals of radio language, preparing students for the production of journalistic content. It also aims to develop self-reflective capabilities about the meaning, adequacy and ethical-deontological framework of the work carried out. At the end of the UC, the student must be able to independently produce sound content intended for radio or podcast, using writing and voiceover techniques, but also capturing and editing sounds.

2) The radio communication process: message and language.
3) Writing techniques for sound media.
4) Sounds and their functions.
5) Journalistic genres on radio.
6) Digital sound capture and processing techniques.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Given the nature of the subject, the assessment will have a strong practical component, with the final grade (NF) being the result of the following formula: NF = 0.3 A + 0.2 B + 0.4C + 0.1D (A. Average obtained in 6 individual news reports, B. Grade obtained in the group report (2 students) C. Grade in the theoretical-practical assessment test D. Participation/leadership/coordination). The assessment test includes the production of a news story based on information (takes) provided by the teacher.
