Learning outcomes This Curricular Unit aims to develop knowledge about the modality of Volleyball and skills for teaching and training the modality in a school and competition context, which allow conducting elementary training and competition activities and/or supporting the conduct of training and competitive guidance in the different stages of sports training.
Syllabus 1. Historical and regulatory aspects of the game of Volleyball.
2. Characterization of the volleyball game and repercussions on teaching/learning the game.
3. Game teaching methodology: methodological proposal.
4. Minivolleyball: from the reduced game to the formal game.
5. The specificity of the Volleyball teaching-learning process, in a school context.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes will have a theoretical/practical nature where the aim is fundamentally to acquire, develop and apply the curricular unit contents. Students will have the opportunity to experience the practice of the sport and acquire knowledge and intervention skills in the teaching-learning process.
