Learning outcomes For this curricular unit, the following general objective was considered: - Develop knowledge and skills related to teaching Handball in different practice contexts. As a result of learning, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate knowledge about the organic and competitive structure of the sport at a national and international level, as well as about the general and specific regulations in their direct implication in the practice of Handball at different ages; 2. Master the specificities and main regulations of Adapted Handball and Beach Handball; 3. Master the fundamentals of training planning and programming processes applied to training handball; 4. Master knowledge about the individual and collective technical-tactical components of the Handball game; 5. Demonstrates mastery of executing various handball game actions and depending on the constraints inherent to their real practice in a game context (simulated).
Syllabus 1. Initial framework: 1.1 The senior and training handball game; 1.2 Long-term sports development; 1.3 Being a Coach; 2. Area of theoretical knowledge 2.1 Game rules and historical evolution 2.2 Handball terminology and symbols 3. Individual technical-tactical actions 4. Group and collective tactical actions 5. Training planning 5.1 Fundamentals of the handball training process 5.2 Sports training as a teaching-learning process 5.3 Adapted and pre-sports exercises and games 5.4 Conditional and coordinative work 5.5 Control of the preparation process 6. Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Student assessment includes: 1. A group work, in the form of a pedagogical dossier (20% of the total classification) 2. An (individual) frequency to check all theoretical knowledge (60% of the total classification), 3. Mastery of game actions (aptitude) in two different moments (10%+10% of the total classification) Final classification in the periodic assessment (PA): (pedagogical dossier x 0.20) + (frequency x 0.60) + (aptitude in game actions x 0.20). Approved (*) when the final PA classification > 9.5 values
