Learning outcomes At the end of the UC, the student must: -Demonstrate in-depth understanding and critical analysis of the importance of practicing physical activity in an outdoor context for well-being -Understand the role of Sport and Physical Activity as promoters of environmental sustainability in the fight against climate change -Demonstrate understanding of international and national guidelines on promoting sustainable sport and responsible active tourism -Know how to discuss, even in situations of limited information, strategies for promoting physical activity and sport in different outdoor contexts -Be able to plan outdoor activities in a sustainable way and linked to tourism -Communicate clearly the conclusions of your work, the knowledge and reasoning underlying them, to specialists and non-specialists -Develop the skills that allow them to learn throughout their lives, in a fundamentally self-oriented and autonomous way
Syllabus 1. Outdoor concepts, Sustainability, Responsible Tourism and their implications in promoting physical activity and sport. 2. International, national and local agents involved in promoting physical activity and sport in outdoor contexts. 3. Relationship between 17 UN SDGs and physical activity. Implications for combating climate change. 4. Sustainability and Management of Natural Territory. Sustainable Exploration of Natural Territories and its implications for the development of sustainable physical activity and sports. 5. Determining factors in the development of public spaces that promote outdoor sports. 6. Determining factors in the development of outdoor activities. From individual knowledge to knowledge of the territory.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The assessment includes: 1 - A frequency on contents 1-6– 40% 2 - A final presentation of a case study – 60%. Students must deliver the work developed at 3 different times Final grade = 1 (40%) + 2 (60%) If final grade < 6, disapproved
