Learning outcomes |
This course aims to consolidate a critical understanding of pre-20th-century architectural thought by comparing key theoretical notions, clarifying their origins, and contrasting concepts stemming from different lines of evolution. These concepts will be illustrated not only through the analysis of theoretical texts but also through the observation and discussion of built works and projects. Beyond providing organized information on the theoretical reflection of this historical period, this course aims to stimulate students' research, analysis, and critical synthesis skills, as well as their aptitude for discussion and debate.
