Syllabus |
Preparation and completion of an integrated master's thesis in architecture, is done under the supervision of a PhD in architecture teacher, previously approved, as well as, the defence of the thesis in public examinations before a jury, both approved by the Course Committee. As this course is tutorial in nature, the topics vary depending on the supervisor and the theme of the thesis. The Programme and themes are framed within the disciplinary areas of Architecture by the development and organisation of research in all its components, namely the characterisation of the state of knowledge, identification of objectives, establishment of a research methodology, systematisation of references, all in the construction of a document capable of synthesising and communicating the research carried out, as well as, explaining with arguments the work in a Public Session.
