Learning outcomes This course aims to recognize the need for scientific research, in general, and communication phenomena, in particular, as well as explain the rules and techniques of preparation of scientific papers and apply those same rules and techniques in the development of scientific work. At the end of the course the student should be able to understand the necessity and importance of scientific research in a global context, particularly in its contribution to the development of civilization, and, in a more restricted area, in the area of Communication Sciences. The student should be able to undertake an competently investigation, covering all key stages, using the main tools of analysis and interpretation, and distinguishing the means at its disposal to publish the results.
