Learning outcomes The CU Health Education aims to equip students with expertise in this area, in order to better understand the behaviors related to health in different age levels, and at the same time to promote in them interventional skills in the area, at school and community levels. Students after Health Education CU should be able to:
a) Describe and explain models and strategies of health education in different contexts;
b) Develop or adapt specific interventions in health education;
c) Discuss the research data that support and establish the knowledge about health education;
d) Justify health education interventions in different contexts, on basis of the scientific and interdisciplinary knowledge.
Syllabus I. Notion and scope of Health Education.
II. Preventive interventions. Scope and examples.
III. Specific intervention and evaluation programs in health education.
IV. Attitude and attitude change in health education.
V. Emotions education: in the search for a curriculum for the emotions.
