Learning outcomes The pedagogical objectives of the course are defined in terms of skills to be acquired by students, prioritized into three levels, in order of decreasing depth and relative semester workload:
Proficiency of
a) Design of statically determinate and indeterminate prestressed concrete structures;
b) Supervision of the construction of elements and structures of prestressed concrete.
Understanding of:
a) Fundamental principles of prestressed concrete;
b) Materials, methods and techniques for prestressing and complementary operations.
Recognition of:
a) Special requirements for the demolition of prestressed concrete structures;
b) Rehabilitation solutions for prestressed concrete structures.
Syllabus 1. Introduction;
