Learning outcomes |
Comprehension of techniques used on structural geology and geostatistical methods will allow, when associated to those gathered on the field, exemplary mastering of spatial characterization of the elements causing rock massifs discontinuities and stress fields, and so to understand its behaviour. Exemplary mastery on discontinuities spatial characterization on rock massifs. Mastery of geotechnical and structural geology mapping techniques. Mastery of cinematic analysis and discontinuity hierarquization.
|
Syllabus |
1 – Structural geology and geotechnical mapping technics using GIS and GNSS. 2 – Analysis of spatial relations of geological structures on rock massifs. 3 – Methods and techniques of cinematic analisys on the field. 4 – Applied space statistic methods. 5 – Laboratory work: geomechanical survey of a rock massif using all methods learn from “in situ” data sampling to final analytical report.
