Learning outcomes |
The objective of the UC is to provide the student with the development of competences for studying and integrating knowledge about teaching and assessment in Physical Education and in School Sports. It seeks to contribute to the widest possible understanding of the professional intervention framework in the field of physical education teaching in basic education (2nd cycle, 3rd cycle and secondary).

Syllabus |
Objectives, contents and organization of physical and sports activities in the scope of primary and secondary education; The work session and the specificities of the contents of the different physical and sports activities. The lesson: factors of effectiveness, management and analysis of the activity; Instruction: role, moments, strategies and factors optimizing the quality of education; Feedback and its role in learning Types and factors of effectiveness; The use of error as a subject of teaching in a constructivist perspective; Assessment in Physical Education and Sport. Concept, modalities, reference; Evaluation procedures. Systematic evaluation tools and methods; Concept of Styles and Strategies of Teaching; Models of Teaching in Sport: from behavioral models to constructivist models The Developmental Model of tasks and play; Teaching of Sports Games: the teaching model of the game for understanding and variants; The pedagogical challenge of interculturality in the space of PE.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
One pedagogical-didactic methodology of action predominantly exposure / discussion and analysis will be-adapt. We intend to still create a learning environment applied, so the more theoretical content shall be made on the practical and concrete examples in research in physical education. The evaluation of UC will also against it, with the completion of a test to assess knowledge, and the realization of a practical work in which you must master and apply content of part (s) of the lesson, so to assess the ability to plan, guide and reflect the practice of teaching.
