Learning outcomes |
Gain knowledge about the molecular basis of cancer and cancer cell, recognizing the importance of basic research in the evolution of clinical applications in oncology, know how to perform some laboratory techniques used in cancer research. Students should acquire the conceptual and practical bases for conducting research in oncobiology. Should understand the onset and progression of malignancies and feel able to discuss and develop strategies to develop research in this domain, and exercise technical functions in a research laboratory. It is also expected that they can solve problems associated with the subject analyzed, showing the ability to apply knowledge to practice. In terms of attitudes, students should develop the ability to work in teams to solve problems and in the acquisition of knowledge.
