This semester's challenge entails developing an architectural project for an intermodal station in Fundão, within the context of integrated mobility in Beira Interior. The aim is to design a station that integrates different means of transport, such as the new surface metro, buses, taxis, active mobility (bicycles, alternative transport) and shared mobility, within a sustainable and efficient system.

Syllabus |
Considering the recent news of the future implementation of the surface metro between Fundão and Covilhã, and the region's integrated mobility pilot project, the project should reflect on the importance of an integration point between the various means of transport. The station will be designed to meet both the needs of the population, with a focus on accessibility, and urban integration, promoting social cohesion, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
