Apresentar as potencialidades dos métodos de apoio à decisão no contexto do Controlo, da Investigação Operacional, da Gestão e da Inteligência Artificial, dando-se especial relevo à formulação de problemas de decisão no âmbito da Engenharia e a instrumentos particularmente úteis para optimizar soluções.
