Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The curricular unit works with theoretical and practical-laboratory classes and the teaching and learning methodology will be student-centered. The teacher, in theoretical classes, explains the contents of the curricular unit and presents examples and real facts for discussion, encouraging reflection. The practical-laboratory classes will take place in the Fiber Physical Testing Laboratory and in the spinning workshop, where the student will operate different equipment and carry out various experimental work within textile metrology and materials characterization. Students must prepare, at the end of each experimental work, a written report where they must apply the knowledge acquired and scientifically discuss the results. The assessment comprises a written test (80% of the final grade) and practical work (20% of the final grade). Final exam
