Área Científica Sociologia
Objectivos de Aprendizagem This discipline aims to promote a space for discussion on gender and its repercussions on the opportunities created for men and women in today's societies. In addition, students will be invited to reflect on the factors that influence the concept of gender, more precisely those that refer to the anatomical composition of bodies, the types of sexual relationships established, and the social classes to which they belong.
In the end, it is hoped that students will be able to understand the social construction created around the concepts of gender, and the underlying power and class disputes in the theories and practical cases studied.
