On behalf of the Organizing Committee we would like to welcome you to the 2nd Symposium of the FibEnTech Research Unit: Fiber Materials and Environmental Technologies.
The 2nd Symposium of the FibEnTech Research Unit: Fiber Materials and Environmental Technologies will take place at the University of Beira Interior - Faculty of Engineering, between 21st and 22nd of September.
Once again we expect to bring together experts from Fiber Materials-Chemistry, Fiber Materials-Physics and Environmental Technologies, offering state of the art knowledge and sharing experiences with all who attend. Discussions regarding the balance between economic, environmental and social outcomes, focused especially on the necessary transition from a linear to a circular economy, its opportunities, challenges and constraints, will be carefully addressed. The development of innovative techniques, tools and strategies to improve corporate economical and environmental performance are also key objectives for this event.
Authors are invited to submit their contribution as full papers and, likewise the 2016 edition, all full papers will be included in the Book of Proceedings of the Symposium (with ISSN).
