Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The lectures are predominantly expository and inductive methods, presenting practical cases and everyday problems beyond theoretical content. In practical classes, students independently construct individual dossiers by solving exercises, under the supervision of teachers, through consultation of a bibliography for this purpose. The evaluation is performed with an individual written test covering theoretical and practical issues, developing a portfolio of individual problem solving and a work project consisting of a practical case study of choice and application of materials, based on technical criteria, in the group, with presentation and discussion.

Teaching-learning classification (CAE):
CAE = 0.60 x PROJ + 0.40 x LAB
Dossier of the individual work (PROJ).
Report and presentation of the laboratory/group work (LAB).
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
