Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria This CU is structured with a methodology based on:
- classroom learning (laboratory class)
- Autonomous learning developed by the students.
The contact sessions comprise laboratory classes where the student is provided with a grid containing all the steps to correctly perform a certain laboratory operation.
The student performs this operation individually in class, initially supervised by the teacher but later autonomously.
Students' knowledge and skills will be assessed using observation / verification grids. These are the same ones that were initially provided to the student and contain an enumeration of aspects that are intended to be verified if the student masters and / or is able to perform or not.
The teacher accompanies students throughout the teaching-learning process by providing learning support teaching materials such as videos, books and other supporting texts.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
