Learning outcomes General:
* To acquire technical, legislative and regulatory knowledge on OSH;
Specific:
* Identify the sources of international, community and national law in labour matters;
* Understand concepts of community law in the subject of OSH;
* Dominate basic concepts of labour law (e.g.: work contract, organisation of working time, holidays, absences, remuneration and termination of work contract);
* Know the normative framework of OSH prevention;
* Identify and differentiate the forms of organisation and operation of OSH services;
* Identify particularly vulnerable groups;
* Recognise sectoral legislation (e.g. industrial establishments, commerce and services, mines and quarries, construction, fisheries and industrial licensing;
* Recognise the legislation concerning the reparation of accidents at work and occupational illnesses, including professional rehabilitation and reintegration;

Laws, decree-laws, regulatory decrees, ordinances

Notions of labour law
Regulatory framework for the prevention of occupational risks concerning the management of a prevention system in the company
Organisation and functioning of occupational safety, hygiene and health services
Legislation concerning the elaboration of detailed prevention and protection plans
Sectoral legislation (industrial and office establishments, commerce and services, mining and quarrying, temporary or mobile construction sites, fishing)
Legislation on the safety and health of particularly vulnerable groups (young people, women)
