Learning outcomes	Provide an overview of the Economics of Environmental Policy. From the setting of goals to the choice of alternative policy instruments. Use the economic framework and knowledge to evaluate environmental problems and policies. Highlight the diversity in the nature and context of environmental problems. Discuss different economic approaches on the links between economic growth and environment upon theoretical and empirical evidences Discuss topics concerning the links between international trade and environment Discuss relevant facts and documents of global, EU and Portuguese environmental policies. To raise independent research skills, namely critical analytical reasoning in order to produce an applied economic quantified analysis
