Learning outcomes |
This CU aims to provide a broad perspective on Art History, allowing the student not only to correctly identify movements, artists and works of art, but also to understand how they are interconnected, reflecting specific time-space contexts.
At the end of the CU, the student should be able to identify and locate (both in time and space) Art History’s most relevant movements; characterize each period regarding its global context and realize the importance of that contextualization; relate correctly styles, artists and works; apply the acquired knowledge to the critical analysis of the construction of a cultural identity; work, both individually and in group, revealing a correct understanding of the defined parameters to each exercise; be successful in the written and oral presentation of the results of the elaborated research.
