Funcionamento do 1º Semestre do Ano Letivo 2020/21

Tendo em consideração o presente quadro de pandemia provocada pelo novo coronavírus e antevendo aos vários cenários possíveis da sua evolução, ao longo do próximo ano, torna-se necessário estabelecer um conjunto de orientações e medidas excecionais para assegurar a retoma das atividades académicas em condições de segurança, no ano letivo de 2020/2021.

 

CALENDÁRIO ESCOLAR

1. As aulas do 1º semestre do 1º ano de licenciatura e mestrado integrado começam no dia 6 de outubro e terminam no dia 29 de janeiro. Tal como ocorreu no 2º semestre de 2019/2020, estes estudantes terão apenas uma época de exames (a coincidir com a época de recurso dos restantes estudantes) e ficarão automaticamente inscritos em época especial.

2. As aulas do 2º ano e seguintes de licenciatura e mestrado integrado, bem como as aulas de mestrados, começam no dia 21 de setembro e terminam dia 15 de janeiro, com exceção dos Mestrados Integrados de Medicina e Ciências Farmacêuticas.

3. As aulas do 2º semestre serão retomadas em simultâneo por todos os anos.

 

REGIME E LECIONAÇÃO


4. As aulas Teóricas e Teórico-práticas podem decorrer em três sistemas:

  • Presencial: Todas as UCs em que a dimensão da turma seja inferior à capacidade da sala em situação pandémica, de acordo com a indicação colocada nas portas.

  • Presencial híbrido: Divisão da turma em dois turnos. Metade da turma assiste à aula em sala de aula enquanto a outra metade assiste à transmissão online síncrona dessa mesma aula. Os turnos mudam de duas em duas semanas para minimizar a utilização de transportes públicos. Os estudantes estrangeiros que se encontrem fora do país e os estudantes com atestado médico que comprove a sua impossibilidade de assistir às aulas presenciais poderão manter-se sempre no turno à distância.

  • Presencial por grupos: A turma é dividida em grupos de estudantes, de acordo com a capacidade das salas escolhidas. Sempre que possível, a aula decorre simultaneamente em diferentes salas de aula, preferencialmente contíguas.

5. Nas práticas laboratoriais, os alunos serão divididos em turnos, de acordo com as capacidades dos laboratórios.

 

ACESSO AOS EDIFÍCIOS


6. É obrigatório o uso de máscaras no interior dos edifícios.

7. Deve ser efetuada a desinfeção das mãos à entrada dos edifícios.

8. A circulação nos espaços comuns faz-se de acordo com as regras previstas no Plano de Contingência da UBI.

9. Dentro e fora dos edifícios deve ser sempre respeitada a distância social de dois metros, evitando-se ajuntamentos que ultrapassem o número máximo de pessoas permitido por Lei.

10. Sempre que possível, as portas devem estar abertas para evitar que os utilizadores toquem no puxador.

 

SALAS


11. Para aumentar a oferta de espaços de ensino foram criadas novas salas de grande capacidade e disponibilizados alguns anfiteatros para marcação de aulas.

12. A lotação de contingência das salas está indicada na porta de entrada e não pode ser ultrapassada.

13. Os lugares a ocupar estão devidamente assinalados, não devendo ser alterada a configuração de cada sala.

14. Entre a mesa do docente e a primeira fila ocupada deve haver uma distância superior a dois metros.

15. Para reduzir a circulação nos corredores deverá ser atribuída uma única sala a cada ano de cada curso.

16. A ocupação dos lugares na sala deve começar pela fila mais distante da porta de entrada, usando-se apenas os lugares assinalados. A saída começará com os estudantes sentados na fila mais próxima da porta.

17. Os estudantes devem ocupar sempre o mesmo lugar na sala de aula atribuída à turma.

18. As salas serão desinfetadas no final de cada turno.

 

AULAS E HORÁRIOS


19. As aulas são distribuídas de segunda a sábado e funcionam em horário alargado, das 8h às 20h. Os horários de entrada e de saída devem ser desfasados para evitar aglomerações nas entradas e saídas, facilitando ainda o acesso às cantinas.

20. As aulas dos 1.º ciclos e mestrados integrados dos anos ímpares decorrem nas manhãs e as aulas dos anos pares nas tardes. As aulas do 1.º ano dos 2ºs ciclos devem ser marcadas nas tardes.

21. A duração das aulas deve ser reduzida em cerca de 15 minutos para arejamento e renovação do ar. Sempre que possível, a aula deve decorrer com as janelas abertas.

22. Não deve haver circulação/partilha de material de qualquer espécie entre professores e estudantes e entre estes últimos. Excetuam-se os casos em que se trate de uma avaliação.

 

AVALIAÇÕES


23. As avaliações deverão ser presenciais, exceto nos casos em que os alunos estejam fora do país ou apresentem atestado médico.

24. As provas públicas de 2º e 3º ciclos deverão ocorrer em regime presencial. Excetuam-se os casos em que o arguente externo à UBI solicite a participação por videoconferência ou em que o estudante apresente atestado médico que fundamente o impedimento.

 

CANTINAS


25. Devido à redução da capacidade das cantinas, os horários das cantinas serão alargados para o período 12h – 14h30.

26. Nas filas de espera devem ser mantidas as distâncias devidamente assinaladas no chão.

27. Deverá privilegiar-se o pagamento através do Cartão de Estudante (refeição mais barata) ou de Multibanco.

28. Será disponibilizada uma maior quantidade de refeições em sistema takeaway.

29. Os lugares que podem ser ocupados estão marcados com a indicação “Higienizado”.

 

GERAL


30. As situações específicas de cursos com particularidades únicas serão objeto de propostas de funcionamento dos respetivos departamentos à reitoria.


Nota: Manter-se-ão em vigor as regras sanitárias gerais definidas no Plano de Contingência da UBI.

 

 

Functioning of the 1st Semester of the Academic Year 2020/21

 

Taking into account the current pandemic situation caused by the new coronavirus and anticipating the several possible scenarios of its evolution, over the next year, it is necessary to establish a set of guidelines and exceptional measures to ensure the resumption of academic activities in safe conditions during the academic year of 2020/2021.

 

ACADEMIC CALENDAR

  1. Classes in the 1st semester of the 1st year of undergraduate and integrated master's courses start on October 6th and end on January 29th. As in the second semester of 2019/2020, these students will have only one exam period (coinciding with the appeal period of the other students) and will automatically be enrolled in a special epoch.

  2. The 2nd and subsequent undergraduate and integrated master classes, as well as master's classes, start on September 21st and end on January 15th.

  3. The 2nd semester classes will be resumed simultaneously for all years.


REGIME AND LECTURE

  1. The theoretical and theoretical-practical classes can take place in three systems:

    Presential: All UCs where the class size is less than the capacity of the room in a pandemic situation, according to the indication placed on the doors.

    Hybrid presential: Division of the class into two shifts. Half of the class watches the class in the classroom while the other half watches the synchronous online transmission of that same class. Shifts change every two weeks to minimize the use of public transport. Foreign students who are outside the country and students with a medical certificate proving their inability to attend face-to-face classes can always remain on the distance shift.

    Classroom attendance: The class is divided into groups of students, according to the capacity of the chosen rooms. Whenever possible, the class takes place simultaneously in different classrooms, preferably contiguous.

  2. In laboratory practices, students will be divided into shifts, according to the capacities of the laboratories.

 

ACCESS TO BUILDINGS

  1. The use of masks inside buildings is mandatory.

  2. Disinfection of hands must be carried out at the entrance of the buildings.

  3. Circulation in common spaces is in accordance with the rules provided for in the UBI Contingency Plan.

  4. Inside and outside the buildings, the social distance of two meters must always be respected, avoiding gatherings that exceed the maximum number of people allowed by law.

  5. Whenever possible, doors should be open to prevent users from touching the handle.

 

ROOMS

  1. In order to increase the offer of teaching spaces, new large capacity rooms were created and some amphitheaters were made available for scheduling classes.

  2. The contingency capacity of the rooms is indicated on the entrance door and cannot be exceeded.

  3. The seats to be occupied are duly marked, and the configuration of each room should not be changed.

  4. There must be a distance of more than two meters between the teacher's desk and the first occupied row.

  5. To reduce circulation in the corridors, a single room should be assigned each year of each course.

  6. The occupation of seats in the room should start with the row furthest from the entrance door, using only the designated places. The departure will begin with the students seated in the row closest to the door.

  7. Students must always occupy the same place in the classroom assigned to the class.
  8. The rooms will be disinfected at the end of each shift.

 

CLASSES AND SCHEDULES

  1. Classes are distributed from Monday to Saturday and operate at extended hours, from 8 am to 8 pm. The entry and exit times must be out of step to avoid crowding at the entrances and exits, while also facilitating access to the canteens.

  2. Classes of the 1st cycles and integrated masters of odd years take place in the mornings and classes of even years in the afternoons. The classes of the 1st year of the 2nd cycles must be scheduled in the afternoons.

  3. The duration of classes should be reduced by about 15 minutes for aeration and air renewal. Whenever possible, the class should take place with the windows open.

  4. There should be no circulation / sharing of material of any kind between teachers and students and between the latter. Except in cases where an evaluation is involved.

 

ASSESSMENTS

  1. The assessments must be in person, except in cases where students are out of the country or present a medical certificate.

  2. The public exams of 2nd and 3rd cycles must take place in person. Except for cases in which the applicant external to the UBI requests participation by videoconference or in which the student presents a medical certificate that grounds the impediment.

 

CANTEENS

  1. Due to the reduction in the capacity of the canteens, the canteen hours will be extended to the period 12:00 - 14:30.

  2. In the waiting lines, the distances properly marked on the floor must be maintained.

  3. Payment by Student Card (cheapest meal) or ATM should be privileged.

  4. A greater number of meals will be available in a takeaway system.

  5. The places that can be occupied are marked with the indication “Sanitized”.

 

GENERAL

  1. The specific situations of courses with unique particularities will be the subject of proposals for the functioning of the respective departments to the rectory.

Note: The general health rules defined in the UBI Contingency Plan will remain in force.
