Learning outcomes The question "What is technique?" no need to claim an immediate response; quite the opposite, it immediately invites us to take on the investigative role in which the question is played. In this sense, this UC aims to stimulate the practice of philosophical questioning, via a fundamental theme of philosophy.

At the end of the UC, the student must be able to: (i) identify issues related to the technique; (ii) explain the fundamental elements of the perspectives studied; (iii) discuss answers to the question “What is the technique?”; (iv) problematize the technique.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Methodologically, the curricular unit is taught under a plural approach to the basic philosophical question – What is Technique? -, for which each teacher introduces a perspective based on bibliographical indication. Each module presupposes prior reading of the respective bibliographic reference, with the weekly OT hour being directed towards this.
