Learning outcomes |
-To know the external changes that have affected the development of the Spanish language. Historical and social factors. -To know the internal changes of the language, from Latin to the present day. Evolution of the vowel and consonant, morphological, syntactic and semantic system. -To know the particularities that place the Spanish language in the group of Romance languages. -To have the ability to recognize basic phenomena of the language of certain periods. -To have the ability to relate these phenomena with those of the Portuguese language. -To have the ability to recognize simple texts from any step.

Formation of peninsular kingdoms (S. VIII – S. XV) 1.5. Spanish Empire (S. XVI – S. XIX) 1.6. Current Spain (S. XX – S. XXI) 2.
