Aprender os conceitos básicos das nanociências e nanotecnologia e suas aplicações em vários campos da ciência e engenharia, em particular o campo biomédico, estudando materiais, técnicas de produção e medidas usadas em nanotecnologia e em microtecnologias de diagnóstico e terapêutica.
