Learning outcomes This Course Unit aims to explore the fundamentals of management applied to health systems and in particular to pharmacy, providing a broad perspective of the concept of human resources, information systems, marketing and production applied to pharmaceuticals.
At the end of this course unit the student should be able to:
- Identify the different management models applicable to the area of pharmacy
- Describe the various forms of constitution of pharmaceutical organizations
- Identify the functions of various pharmaceutical organizations

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Grading will be on a scale of 0-20. Students who obtain a score of 10 or higher will be exempt from the Final Exam.

Two exams will be held, with the minimum required grade for each exam being 8 points, accounting for 90% of the final grade.
A group project will be completed, worth 2 points.
The final learning grade will be the sum of the grades obtained in each exam, which must achieve a minimum of 8 points each to be eligible for the exam, and the grade of the assignment.
Students who attend more than 80% of the classes and obtain a minimum of 8 points in each exam will be assigned a value proportional to the percentage of classes attended.
The attendance criterion does not apply to student workers. Final Grade = (1st Freq 0.45) (2nd Freq*0.45) + (Group work*0.10) + Attendance
Assessments will take place on November 13, 2025 (9:30 am) and February 19, 2026 (9:30 am).
