Learning outcomes With this curricular unit, students are expected to be able to understand tourism, its relations with the Environment and the Territory, as well as to understand how climate change and other phenomena highlight the need for integrated planning tourism.
Syllabus 1. Introduction - Ethics, Tourism and Environment.
2. The Development of Tourism and the Environment. 3. Tourism, Environment and Economy.
4. Tourism, Environment and Poverty.
5. Tourism and Sustainability.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria OT: exposition of syllabus contents and inductive intervention through proposed problems, which may involve research work.
EI: technical-scientific reading and writing, analysis and resolution of problems or carrying out research work (between 10 and 15 pp.)
Assessment methods (CF) and criteria:
CF = 0.30 x P + 0.70 x T
P - individual development of problems, to apply and learn more about the topics, with supervision and bibliography consultation.
T - individual development of research work on R & D trends in a particular theme of the curricular unit.
