The curricular unit on spectroscopic methods aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical bases for advanced analysis methodologies using spectroscopic techniques. The different spectroscopic techniques will be compared and their potential will be highlighted by discussing their application in different analytical problems, selected as case studies. The student will acquire spectroscopic data at the atomic level, followed by the determination of spectral parameters and the interpretation of spectra in terms of the structure of molecules.
