1. Familiarize students with the thematic approach to specific content of essential philosophy learning;

4. Improve critical thinking regarding the themes, consistent with their didactic application in a high school context;
5. Exercise philosophical skills and associate them with methodological skills equally specific to this discipline.

Theme I. Philosophy of Knowledge and Science. 1. Gnoseology. Problems of Knowledge: Possibility and Origin. The Skeptical Challenge. Rationalism and Empiricism: The Problems of Veritative Justification and Inductive Foundation. 2. Epistemology. The Question of the Scientific Method. Epistemological Theories of Popper and Kuhn. Science, Pseudoscience, and Antiscience.
Theme II. Philosophy in the Face of Generative AI. Some Approaches and Prospective Incursions

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The course assessment consists of a short written essay of between 8 and 10 pages (weighted 70%), complemented by a public oral presentation (weighted 30%), which will validate the performance levels achieved in terms of the targeted knowledge and skills.
