The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program brings visiting scholars and professionals from abroad to lecture at U.S. colleges and universities for one semester or academic year.
Preference is given to institutions that don't usually have the opportunity to host visiting scholars, and to Minority-serving Institutions. These include small liberal arts colleges, community colleges, (Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Tribal Colleges and other Minority Serving Institutions).
Host institution: The
Universidad Metropolitana in Puerto Rico
Grant activity: The scholar is expected to assist in host institution’s efforts to set long lasting ties with her/his home institution. The main teaching activities will be developed within the field of Education, Philosophy and Ethics.
