Scholarship for a student with a Master Degree | “INDTECH 4.0 - Novas tecnologias para fabricação inteligente”

Scientific area: Computer Science and Engineering

Admission requirements: Have a master degree in Computer Science and Engineering or similar area. Preference will be given to students that have experience with Computer Vision and Deep Learning and that have scientific publications related to the workplan.

Work place: The work will be developed in the SOCIA laboratory of the Department of Informatics of the University of Beira Interior, under the scientific guidance of Professor Luís A. Alexandre.

Duration of the scholarship: The scholarship will last for 12 months, starting during June 2018. The scholarship contract may be renewed until the end of the project (28 February 2021) or up to a maximum of 36 months if the end date of the project is extended.

Amount of the monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the scholarship corresponds to 980 €, according to the table of values of the grants awarded directly by FCT, I.P. in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores.phtml.pt). The payment of the scholarship will be made monthly by bank transfer. Voluntary social insurance is added to the value of the scholarship, if the candidate chooses to join it, as well as personal accident insurance.
