Advanced research work in at least one of the four fields of political science covered by this doctoral programme, political philosophy, governance, comparative politics, and political communication, was undertaken after the research project was approved in examinations. Thus, the specific content will reflect the nature of the doctoral students’ research, carried out under the scientific supervision of one or more supervisors.
Within this unit, monthly seminars will be carried out throughout the academic year. In each seminar, one-two students will present a part of their thesis research, followed by comments and discussion with the faculty and his fellow students, as well as members of the R&D units with similar research interests. Equally, the doctoral students will be integrated, whenever possible, in national or international research projects of the R&D units that support this doctoral programme – GOVCOPP, IFP, LabCom and Praxis.
